SM100-W series HART smart converter is a product developed by using ARM microprocessor, HART protocol modem chip and a lot of practical experience. It is designed according to the requirements of industrial products and has high reliability and stability. The intelligent converter is equipped with standard RS485 interface and gateway, which can transparently transmit data with intelligent instruments with HART protocol or convert to MODBUS _ RTU/MODBUS _ TCP protocol to read data, as to ensure real-time data transmission.

Product Introduction

The ARM microprocessor, a HART protocol modem chip, and extensive field experience were integrated into the development of the SM100-W series HART smart converter. Designed to meet industrial-grade specifications, it ensures high stability and reliability. Featuring a standard RS485 interface and gateway, it supports conversion to MODBUS_RTU/MODBUS_TCP protocols or transparent data transmission with intelligent instruments using the HART protocol.

Using the Bell202 Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) standard, the HART protocol enables bidirectional digital data transmission superimposed on the 4-20 mA analog signal without interference. The SM100 series intelligent converter efficiently modulates and demodulates these signals in both directions.

No, this model does not require setting a HART address and can be used directly after wiring is completed.

2. How far is the communication distance of SM100-W HART?

The HART instrument communication distance is approximately 200 meters with a stable signal.

The data update time for one set is 0.8 seconds. If eight sets are linked, the data updates in 6.4 seconds.

4. Which communication protocols are supported?
