The ARM microprocessor, a HART protocol modem chip, and extensive field experience were integrated into the development of the SM100-W series HART smart converter. Designed to meet industrial-grade specifications, it ensures high stability and reliability. Featuring a standard RS485 interface and gateway, it supports conversion to MODBUS_RTU/MODBUS_TCP protocols or transparent data transmission with intelligent instruments using the HART protocol.
Using the Bell202 Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) standard, the HART protocol enables bidirectional digital data transmission superimposed on the 4-20 mA analog signal without interference. The SM100 series intelligent converter efficiently modulates and demodulates these signals in both directions.
