SM100-A (B) The HART SMART converter was created by combining a lot of real-world knowledge with an ARM computer and a specific chip for the modulation and demodulation of the HART protocol.

It has excellent stability and dependability and is made in accordance with the specifications of industrial items. Standard RS232 and RS485 interfaces are included with the HART SMART Converter. It ensures real-time data transfer by enabling transparent data transmission with HART-enabled devices or by converting data to the MODBUS_RTU protocol for reading.

The HART protocol superimposes modulated digital signals on the 4–20 mA analog current using the Bell 202 Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) standard. As a result, data transmission can be enabled by HART-compatible devices without affecting the 4-20mA analog signal. Digital and analog signals are modulated and demodulated by the SM100-A(B) SMART Converter, which operates as an intelligent modem.

Product Features

The SM100-A (B) produces Modbus signals and has two optional 232/485 ports to accommodate additional requirements.
The SM100-A (B) can be read by two PLCs and provides two Modbus outputs. Multiple Hart tables can be connected by SM100-A (B).
Two-wire instruments can be powered by the 24V output of SM100-A (B).
