China 16-Channel HART Data Collector & MODBUS Protocol Converter | China Suppliers & Factory Solutions Supplier, Factory
The SM100-M-16 HART data collector is an advanced product developed by a leading factory in China, integrating an ARM microprocessor and a HART protocol modem chip backed by extensive practical experience. Engineered to meet the rigorous demands of industrial applications, this data collector offers exceptional reliability and stability. It features a standard RS485 interface and gateway, enabling seamless and transparent data transmission with intelligent HART protocol instruments. Additionally, the SM100-M-16 can convert data into MODBUS RTU or MODBUS TCP protocols for efficient data reading. As trusted suppliers, we ensure that our innovative solutions provide real-time data transmission for enhanced operational efficiency
With the help of an ARM microprocessor, a HART protocol modem chip, and a great deal of real-world knowledge, the SM100-M-16 HART data collector was created. It offers great stability and dependability and is designed to meet the specifications of industrial items. To ensure real-time data transmission, the data collector is outfitted with a standard RS485 interface and gateway that can either convert data into MODBUS_RTU or MODBUS_TCP protocol to read data or transparently communicate data with intelligent instruments using HART protocol.
The HART protocol instrument enables bidirectional data transmission without interfering with the 4 to 20 mA analog signal by superimposing a modulated digital signal on a 4 to 20 mA basis using the Bell202 Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) standard. An clever converter for bidirectional modulation and demodulation of digital and analog signals is the SM100-M series HART data collector.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many HART devices can the SM100-M-16 connect to?
The SM100-M-16 HART data collector can connect to and scan up to 16 HART devices simultaneously and in parallel across all set-up channels.
Does the device support hot-swapping or online replacement?
Yes. It features a modular design that isolates the HART module from the host, allowing for online HART module replacement in any channel without interrupting the entire system.
Will the collector affect the original 4-20 mA analog signal?
No, as long as there is no power outage or malfunction and the loop resistance is less than or equal to 250 ohms, the equipment does not impact the accuracy or transmission of the 4–20 mA analog signal.
What protocols can the data collector convert the HART data into?
It can convert HART data into MODBUS_RTU or MODBUS_TCP protocols to read data, or it can communicate data transparently with intelligent instruments using the HART protocol.
What is the level of electromagnetic isolation on this device?
It features a three-terminal electromagnetic complete quarantine between the host power supply and HART channels. The electromagnetic quarantine voltage for the HART module, RS485, and NET Ethernet interfaces is at least 1500 V.
What versions of the HART protocol are compatible?
The SM100-M-16 HART data collector is compatible with HART protocol Version 5.0 and higher.
